Lord God, when we are weary and gloomy, when strss threatens to overwhelm us, when we’re confused and doubting, may we catch glimpses of the light of your love in the darkness. Amen.
God of the desert, there you spoke to Moses, there you prepared John the Baptist, let us know that you are with us in the desert of doubt. When our feelings do not sense you, when our minds begin to question you, continue as our guardian and guide. Lead us out of our darkness into light until we come out of the wilderness and share the joys of the Promised Land.
