Things not to say to someone who is ill

In April 2012, the Guardian newspaper ran two articles by Deborah Orr, one of their journalists, based on her experience of being diagnosed with cancer. In the first, she listed ten things not to say to someone who is seriouslyh ill. In the second, she gathers responses in which readers describe their exeperience of what’s sometimes said.
